BC Govt Announced on BC Accessibility Act asking for your feed back May 31st to July 31st,2024

Public engagement will begin Friday, May 31, and continue until July 31. As well as an online questionnaire at http://engage.gov.bc.ca/accessiblebcactstandards, there will be various in-person and virtual town halls and small group sessions. People can also e-mail submissions to accessiblebc@urbansystems.ca.

B.C. minimum wage increases June 1

Victoria Tuesday, May 28, 2024 9:45 AM On June 1, 2024, the general minimum wage increases from $16.75 to $17.40 an hour. The 3.9% increase also applies to minimum-wage rates for resident caretakers, live-in home-support workers and live-in camp leaders.
