A thank you for input into CLBC’s next strategic plan

CLBC spent the last 6 months collecting input from self advocates, families, service providers, and CLBC staff about what is most important for CLBC to work on over the next 3 years. Here are the 4 priorities of the new strategic plan:

  1. creating better outcomes for the people we serve
  2. improving relationships with individuals and families
  3. improving our systems
  4.  increasing quality with service providers.

Thank you so much to everyone who provided input. We look forward to announcing the plan soon.

New CLBC inclusive housing resources

A big thank-you to self advocate leaders Jennifer Deakin, Cheryl Fryfield and BC People First for attending and presenting, “What Inclusive Housing Means to Us.

CLBC has created new Inclusive Housing resources to help people understand what makes housing inclusive, and the benefits of inclusive housing for everyone. Visit the CLBC inclusive housing web site here.

We are pleased to announce that CLBC has finished the regional reorganization project. We now have  integrated teams in each region. This will help CLBC to make timely decisions and better serve individuals and families.
