Welcome to the Summer 2017 Edition of CLBC’s “Celebrate Diverse ABILITIES” magazine.
Celebrate Diverse ABILITIES is created under the guidance of the CLBC Editorial Board, which is made up of self advocates from across the province, as well as family members.
The theme for this edition is “Marking Canada 150 – A new generation of possibilities and where we want to go from here.” Self advocates share stories about their lives, acknowledging how the hard work of previous generations has created a more inclusive future, and also celebrating the opportunities that people have today.
