My mum and I flew to Montreal from Victoria, then to Quebec City. We had about three days in Quebec City; we did a tour of the Old Town to learn the history of the city. It was a very pretty city to see. After the tour, we went to a hotel where we went up to the tower to check out the view of the city.
We went through security because that’s where Donald Trump was staying. The view was awesome. The next day we went to a French restaurant for breakfast, and then we went to a cat cafe and had coffee with the cats and talked to them. Later that day we had dinner at the very first restaurant in Canada and we walked around town.
The next day we got up early and went to the train station where we took the train from Quebec City to Montreal, we switched trains in Montreal to Toronto and we got delayed by about three hours because of the freight trains. We had four days in Toronto.
The day we arrived we went for dinner at our friend’s restaurant. On our first full day, we went up the CN Tower and went to the Ripley’s aquarium. We also went for lunch and walked around town. The next day we went to the Toronto Zoo.
It was an awesome zoo. We saw lots of different animals.
The next day we went to Niagara Falls and it was beautiful there. We went and did the tour under the falls.
Because the train was delayed by 12 hours we got an extra night in Toronto. We got put up in a nice hotel. Then we left on the train back to BC where we saw lots of beavers and their dams. We saw lots of Canada and we got to see the sun come up over the Rockies.
The food was amazing and if you have a DiverseAbility your family member gets on the train for free as your companion.
