One of the highlights of the annual calendar at Community Living BC is the June meeting of CLBC’s Board of Directors and the Provincial Advisory Committee (PAC). PAC includes representatives of all 13 BC Community Councils and plays a vital role in CLBC’s governance by providing information to the Board on the priorities of individuals and families we serve.
This year’s meeting took place in Vancouver on June 6 and 7. The agenda was full and included community building sessions with a variety of community-based presenters, as well as facilitated discussion and feedback about CLBC’s Strategic Plan Refresh. A consistent theme was the strengthening relationship and communication with CLBC and our Community Councils. The new on-line Community Council Handbook was also made available at the meeting.
