CLBC Recognizes National Aboriginal Day

maxresdefault Message from CEO Seonag Macrae:

jun21 On behalf of Community Living BC, I want to honour and celebrate Canada’s National Aboriginal Day which falls on Sunday, June 21, 2015.

This is an important day for British Columbians to recognize and celebrate the heritage and diverse cultures and vital contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Metis people in our country.

CLBC and all of its employees are committed to delivering quality services to individuals with a developmental disability, including by improving access to services for those who reside in their First Nations communities. You can learn more on our website here.

We deeply value the input of our partners, and we will continue to work toward establishing and strengthening partnerships with local, regional and provincial Aboriginal representatives.

We join you in celebrating this day. And I encourage all of the individuals and families we serve, our service providers and our staff to participate in events in your community. A list of related provincial health and wellness events can be found on the First Nations Health Authority web site here.
