Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!

Hi everyone,

My name is Krystian Shaw

AAEAAQAAAAAAAATIAAAAJDkxYjMyNTMyLWI4NDUtNDMzYS05NmY1LTFkZDQyMWJhMTgzYw The inclusion that we have been advocating for is fantastic and has endless opportunities for everyone.

Sometimes our friends hold parties or their workplaces do.

This year, I am looking forward to being included by attending Christmas parties with my friends, family and co-workers.

Being included makes me very excited, empowered, and happy because it makes all of us feel special now that we are being treated like equals.
We can listen to Christmas music and eat Christmas goodies with others in the community regardless of who has limitations in life and who doesn’t.
We can experience opening up Christmas Presents and watching Christmas movies to get into the holiday Spirit with our peers within the community.

Everyone has a chance to learn from everyone.
Make sure you get your Christmas list ready and find out what other people’s Christmas lists are too. Remember, there is more happiness in giving than in receiving.

The top of my priority list this year is Roller Coaster Tycoon World, a computer game, released on December 10th 2015.
Christmas does not have to be expensive. You can make homemade gifts. It’s meaningful and comes from the heart.

Not everyone can afford Christmas gifts so look on Pinterest for good arts and crafts ideas for Christmas time as well.

Even baked goods would make a nice present. Keep in mind that Christmas should not be all about gift giving though.

Connections with our family and friends are more important.

I wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

105539My New Year’s resolution is to start a social club, with the speaking up self-advocacy awareness group,

so we can continue to make natural connections within the community.

Hope you have a great Christmas and a great New Years.

I hope I have given you all ideas to get into the Holiday Spirit.

Happy 2016 everyone!
