New CLBC CEO Confirmed: Seonag Macrae Starts Job in August

Seonag-MacraeThe Chair of CLBC’s Board of Directors Denise Turner confirmed yesterday that Seonag Macrae will become CLBC’s permanent CEO effective August 11. Click here to read a copy of the Board Chair’s message to CLBC staff with the announcement.

In addition to welcoming Seonag to the CLBC team, the Board Chair recognized Interim CEO Doug Woollard for his leadership over the past couple years. Among other things, Doug has:

  • delivered significant progress to improve our relationships with the provincial government, families and individuals, service providers and other important community living partners
  • adopted a culture of continuous quality improvement that promotes person-centred services and improved two-way communications with stakeholders
  • introduced a comprehensive strategy that is helping create hundreds of employment opportunities for the people we serve
  • collaborated with staff to develop responses to concerns regarding workload and change management
