If we say February, lots of people will think of Valentines Day and the idea of romance. Romance is great, but the bigger thing we want to think about this month is love and kindness. By coming from a place of love, it can change the way we see others and how we treat each other.

When we practice loving kindness, we can overcome barriers and reduce stigma. We can build stronger relationships, including friendship.

Instead of focusing on our differences, we can focus on how we are the same. We can lift each other up, which is the focus of this years Pink Shirt Day. As we take time to truly see each other, it also helps raise awareness to challenges like Ableism.

We hope youll take time to read the article about Ableism, but also take time throughout the month to share kindness and love. Why not challenge yourself to practice some random acts of kindness, or maybe thank some of the first responders in our community for all they have done and continue to do during Covid. Where there is great love, there are always miracles. Willa Cather. We hope you have a great February and find this newsletter interesting, educational, powerful and inspiring.

You inspire us with your great feedback and suggestions.
