My name is Sky Hendsbee and I have a business called, Sky’s the Limit DJ Service.
I started my DJ business after a good friend and role model showed me the ropes and how to use the DJ equipment.
For my business I use something called a Numark mixer with speakers and my ipad or computer to access music.
I like all types of music like the 80’s and 90’s and I love country music.
The Langley Association helped me get started and I play for their Christmas party and Summer Fest.
I have been a DJ at the Sunshine Dance on Thursday night, as well as for Inclusion BC.
The best part about being a DJ is when I get involved with the community. I also like to interact with other people who love music.
I like when people come to see me as a DJ and see how I work. And also if they have any suggestions on what kind of music they like I can look it up to see if I have it to play.
I would be a good mentor for someone who wanted to become a DJ.
The challenges for me is to find opportunities to be a DJ.
My goals are to grow my business and connect with people who want to have dances and have fun together with good music! I can be an awesome DJ for you!
