My name is Divian Reddy Kristina and I am twenty-four years old. I live with my parents and my grandma. I love my family very much but my favorite person is my grandma. I call her Auntie.
At home, I help my mom with chores. I like to go with my parents to Garden Nails for both a manicure and pedicure twice a month. I pick different colour shades for my nails.
I attend a Community Inclusion Program Monday to Friday. I like it so I don’t want to miss a day. I like to colour and make cards for special events. I also like to make bracelets with beads.
I like using the HandyDart and BC Transit to get to my activities. I enjoy going to different places such as parks, and to the Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre for music. I like to explore many places such as museums, parks and recreation centers. I love going bowling, swimming, and going on lunch outings.
I like to dress up nicely every day and I especially like matching jewelry with my outfit. I always bring my own healthy snacks and lunch, which I think are delicious. My favourite food is veggie noodles.
I am outgoing and enjoy being part of the group. Although I am very soft-spoken, I show my emotions by laughing out loud and every time something funny happens. I like socializing with friends. I am a caring and helpful person.
During winter the program had to close because of snow. I couldn’t believe it so I asked my dad to drive me there. I wanted to see for myself that none of my friends were there. My dad loves me and he will do anything for me.
I know I am a little shy but I have made really good friends at the program. I like to get together with everyone.
