The Individualized Funding Resource Centre Society’s mission is to empower people with disabilities who access Individualized funding, by providing them with knowledge and resources to support them in fully utilizing the benefits of the respective program, whereby achieving their objectives of autonomy and independence.
In partnership with the Vancouver Resource Society, we currently have a housing opportunity for people with disabilities.
Three one bedroom accessible apartments with wheel-in shower, adapted kitchen, wider doorways, etc.
Available: Both Jan. 1st & Feb. 1st
Subsidy Available.
Eligibility: Individuals applying must require night care support and be prepared to share the night staff with the other tenants utilizing the CSIL program.
If you are not yet on CSIL but are interested in utilizing the program, we can assist you in the process of applying and negotiating hours.
You would utilize your CSIL staff for your personal needs during the day. VRS is the landlord for the property, IFRC manages the wait list for the units and supports the individuals using CSIL overnight shared care.
