Dear: self-advocates and professionals.

As you may know, I run The Kamloops Self-Advocate, a newsletter for people with diverse abilities.

As my newsletter grows, I am always looking for ways to make it better.

With this in mind, I have an exciting & flexible volunteer position for self-advocates and professionals.

I’m inviting people to be part of my newsletter advisory group, which will work together to bring fresh ideas to the table.
I would like to have a group that meets every 3 months to help me generate new ideas and topics for the newsletter,

to help me think of ways to improve it, to increase revenue, to create surveys, and to expand the readership.

The daytime meetings will be relatively short, possibly 1 ½ to 2 hours long on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday afternoon.

The goal will to be flexible to accommodate everyone’s schedule as much as possible.
I value your feedback and input and hope you will consider being part of this group.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if this is something you would like to join.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Krystian Shaw
