Celebrating Mental Health Join us for Mental Health Week! The Kamloops Self-Advocate Newsletter team and Glenn Hike from the Big E are going to host “Cracking Up”, a comedy documentary about an amazing program called Stand Up for Mental Health.

It discusses true personal experiences about how people deal with mental illness using comedy.

The documentary will be held at the Paramount Theater on Thursday, May 9th at 7pm. Admission is by donation, with a suggested minimum donation of $10.

All proceeds go to the Canadian Mental Health Association. We hope you will join us for this amazing event, which will include our special guest David Granirer, founder of Stand Up for Mental Health, who is coming from Vancouver and will be one of the MC’s for the evening. In addition, there will be a choir performance at the event.

Let’s celebrate Mental Health Week with some humor and great entertainment!
