Nancy Thibeau, an Analyst in the Terrace CLBC Office, is the recipient of this year’s Making a Difference Award. Every year, CLBC invites our staff to nominate a colleague they think exemplifies the very best in how they work and what they accomplish for others.

“Nancy always goes above and beyond as an analyst, and as a colleague. She pours her heart into every aspect of her job. She connects on a deep level with individuals we support, the service providers we work with, and with us colleagues,” says Nancy’s colleague Jennifer Keys in her nomination.

Nancy, who has been with CLBC since 2013, received her award during a recent team day for North Region staff in Terrace. “I felt very appreciative that Jennifer nominated me and of course very honoured to receive the award,” says Nancy.

In addition to receiving the Don Philpott Trophy, Nancy was also awarded a $500 bursary (jointly contributed by CLBC and the BCGEU) to offer to an organization of her choice. She has chosen to provide the bursary to Thompson Community Services.
