CLBC Board searches for next CEO

CLBC is looking for New CEO

CLBC is seeking a leader who is excited about the opportunity to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, families, service agencies and other partners to advance inclusion in communities across the province.

With the retirement of current CEO Seonag Macrae on March 31, 2019, the organization’s Board of Directors is working with executive search firm Boyden to help identify a candidate who can establish strong relationships and continue to improve services.

To help find the right candidate, the Board sought input about the requirements for this role from individuals and families, service providers and stakeholder groups.

The Board has heard that in addition to having business experience, the CLBC CEO must be a caring and active listener, be effective at building relationships of credibility and trust, provide leadership that builds capacity and achieves results, and have experience leading large and complex organizations that deliver valued services in a way that is responsive and respectful.

The position has now been posted here.
